Google shared an animated doodle to spread awareness about the vaccination of COVID-19.
With the sudden increase in cases of omicron across the world, Google has published a doodle to mark the importance of wearing a mask and keeping others safe in this time of crisis. In the animated doodle published on January 17, all the letters of the Google search engine can be seen celebrating after receiving the vaccine. Letters are also seen wearing masks.
“Get vaccinated. Wear a mask. Save lives,” reads the Google Doodle’s information page. The doodle has also been linked to a search page that directs the user to the latest information on COVID-19 and results showing how to find the nearest vaccination centre.

As per the latest reports, India has registered 2,58,089 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. So far 8,209 omicron cases have been detected, an increase of 6.02% over the previous day. The positivity rate is now 19.65%.
So far 157.20 crore doses have been given under the nationwide vaccination campaign. However, India’s ‘R-value’, which indicates how fast Covid-19 is spreading, fell to 2.2 between January 7 and January 13.
