Google updates Android 13, Samsung, Asus, Oppo, Vivo; Is your phone on the list?

Google announced Android 13 beta at the I/O event and many smartphones including Google, Samsung, Asus, Oppo have started receiving the update. Check the list to know if your smartphone is on it or not.

Just a few days ago, Google made a big announcement regarding the Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel Watch, Google Pixel 6a and more. Well, amidst these major revelations, Google also unveiled the next generation Google OS Android 13. Soon after its announcement, several Google smartphones started receiving the latest update. However, this is in the form of Android 13 beta developer preview. There are a total of 12 major brands that are part of the Android 13 beta program. Android 13: What new features does it offer?

The Android 13 update includes a new permission setting that allows you to manage which apps send you notifications. This includes better permission settings for sharing with nearby devices. It includes the all-new ‘Material U’ design language component, which lets you match app icon colors to themes and choose pre-app text, among other things. It also comes with better controls for privacy and security. For example, with Android 13, you’ll be able to choose between ‘Photos & Video’ and ‘Music & Audio’ when an app asks you for permission to access files. Earlier it was limited to ‘Files and Media’ which provided access to the entire internal storage.

Not only for smartphones, but for tablets, Android 13 brings more multitasking options. It also comes with a newly updated taskbar through which you can easily switch between apps as well as use two apps side by side in split-screen view. Users can also drop any app from the library on the home screen of their choice.
