There are five holidays left in the remainder of 2023: two in October, one in November and two in December. Like every year, the last few months are the most difficult for many and, in general, the need to prepare bags and equipment with the spouse and plan a vacation from the usual increases . Although no one wants to be left without taking advantage of the last days without work, it is probably best not to rush until the 2024 holiday calendar is confirmed, because there may be a wonderful surprise: a longer, six-day weekend , in the first months next year.
When planning a long or short trip, you should always do tourist research and count against the clock to avoid running out of tickets or accommodation, and to avoid paying more than expected. However, a recent discovery by the famous businessman and theater producer Carlos Rottemberg can save more than one’s pocket and provide many benefits.
Always one step ahead of others in organizing and planning the theater agenda for the summer season, Rottenberg expects a “giant program” for the next season in Mar del Plata, a spa town with important tourist and dramatic life.
In his discovery, the 2024 calendar will favor “La Feliz” on its 150th anniversary and other tourist locations in the country. “I’m only saying this if someone hasn’t realized it yet: in March an unprecedented situation will happen,” said the businessman.
And he clarified: “Holy Week falls between Thursday the 28th and Sunday the 31st, and the detail is that the next Tuesday is April 2, a holiday for the Malvinas. , they go to will consist of 6 days in a row, surpassing the famous 4-day carnival that, we already know, is very good,” Rottemberg explained to Mar del Plata media 0223.
In this sense, the producer considers that the closure of this coming summer deserves the opportunity to “finish it on a high note.” And he added: “This is an end that, in my case, allows me to continue looking for a little strawberry for dessert. And let’s not forget that March is a very good month from the point of view of the climate, sometimes better than February,” he recalled.
On the occasion of the important anniversary of Mar del Plata, Rottemberg began almost a year before to think and prepare each of the details of the season, and claims to have almost everything defined.
“I decided to launch a long time ago because it seems not a small fact for me that the city will be 150 years old. This round number has a lot of value for those of us who live in the city every day, in my case coming and going. “It shouldn’t go unnoticed by anyone,” he said.
When is the next long weekend?
The Ministry of the Interior has scheduled a new holiday for tourist purposes for Friday, October 13, since the previous day marked the Day of Respect for Cultural Diversity. However, that holiday was moved to Monday the 16th of that month. Therefore, in October there are two holidays that include a four-day long weekend.
Starting from the tenth month, the year is completed with three holidays: one in November and two in December. Although many Argentinians will take advantage of the longer weekend to rest, they are only three days.
What unshakable holidays remain in 2023
According to the national calendar, of the 14 immovable holidays scheduled for 2023, the following have not yet been fulfilled:
