Great looks and features, yet these 5 cars could not run in India

Behind the success of a car depends on its appearance, features and the name of the car company. Customers decide when buying a car keeping in mind its great appearance, features and price. However, there are still many vehicles that have failed to entice customers despite having beautiful and powerful features to look at. Today we are talking about 5 such cars.

1. Mahindra Alturas G4
This is Mahindra’s flagship SUV, which was launched in the year 201. This full-size SUV of the company was brought against the competition of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor. The Mahindra SUV is priced at Rs 28.77 lakh to Rs 31.77 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine (180PS / 420Nm), it is mated to a 7-speed AT gearbox. It has features like sunroof, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and – way adjustable driver’s seat.

2. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
The Mitsubishi Pajero was a popular name in the early 2000s. It was considered the King of Off Road. In 2012 it was launched as the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. It also had the same capabilities as the older version. However, due to lack of good marketing, this off-roader could not attract customers.

3. Tata Hexa
The Tata Hexa is one of those capable SUVs that can drive off the road as well as on the highway. It was given a 2179cc diesel engine, which comes in both manual and automatic types. Hexa was discontinued in 2020 before the BS6 emission rule was implemented.

4. Skoda is awesome
The Skoda Superb is a premium sedan. It is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine (190PS / 320Nm), combined with a 7-speed DSG. It gets a 360-degree camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive LED headlamps and a wireless smartphone charger. The car also gets 3-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof and 12-way electrically compatible and ventilated seats.

5. Mahindra TUV300
The Mahindra TUV300, despite being an affordable and capable SUV, did not entice customers too much. Mahindra has recently updated this car and named it Bolero Neo. It has a rear wheel drive system. The new car is powered by a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces 100 horsepower and 240 Nm of peak torque.
