Guy Fiery says he’s ready to host Kristen Stewart’s wedding

Soon, Kristen Stewart is waiting for her honeymoon trip to Flavortown.

On Thursday on Today, celebrity chef Guy Fiery said he was ready to preside over Stewart and Dylan Meyer’s upcoming wedding after the Spencer star invited him to host her wedding earlier this week.

“I heard through the Flavortown vine that you’re looking for a nice spiky-haired waiter for your wedding,” Fier said via a pre-recorded video that aired at the end of Stewart’s Today interview. “I’m all ready!”

Stewart was in awe of the video and told host Hoda Kotb that she was not joking when she suggested Fier as an official in a separate interview with Howard Stern this week.

“Do you know where he lives?” she said. “What’s his address? Does he live in Los Angeles? We have to talk about it. “

The media buzz surrounding Stewart’s wedding began on Tuesday after the actor confirmed on The Howard Stern Show that she and screenwriter Meyer were engaged.

“We’re just going to do it ourselves and we just won’t have someone else acting as if the other side were involved at the moment,” she said. “But we’ve heard that Food Network’s Guy Fiery serves a lot of gay weddings. So the thought that this person – this sweet, sweet, pointed man – will come to our wedding and take over the duties … it just makes me laugh like that! “

Fieri, host of Food Network’s Lunch, Checkout & Diving and Grocery for Boys, made headlines in 2015 when he presided over a mass wedding of 101 same-sex couples in Miami. The event was hosted by fellow chef Art Smith and former Florida Governor Bob Graham and featured desserts prepared by Duff Goldman, known as “Ace of Cakes.”

Stewart’s engagement coincides with her return to the big screen as Princess Diana in Pablo Larraine’s Spencer, which opens on Friday.
