Former Indian cricketer Kris Srikkanth believes Jasprit Bumrah could be hurt by all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s return to Mumbai Indians, as the fast bowler hopes to one day be given the command of the team. Hardik returned to the Mumbai team after spending two seasons with Gujarat Titans. He started his IPL career from Mumbai in 2015.

After Mumbai Indians picked up Hardik last week, Bumrah made a post on Instagram where he wrote, ‘Silence is sometimes the best answer.’ Regarding his post, Srikanth said on his YouTube channel, ‘He is the best bowler in the world at the moment, be it test or limited overs cricket. His performance in the World Cup will not be forgotten. Even last year in England, he played the role of acting captain in the fifth Test match.

He said, ‘Perhaps he repented. It could also be his ego or he could be hurt by the fact that he stayed with Mumbai Indians and gave everything for the team but now the team is bringing back someone who left the team and celebrating it.

Let us tell you that Hardik Pandya joined Mumbai Indians for the first time in the year 2015 and made his IPL debut. After progressing in Mumbai, he joined Gujarat Titans in 2022. Here he made the team champion under his captaincy in his debut season itself. After this, Gujarat Titans team reached the finals of IPL 2023.
