Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has informed about the weekend lockdown on Twitter. He said that the lockdown will be imposed in Panchkula, Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa and Fatehabad districts from 10 am to 3 May 5 pm.
The order issued by the government stated, “Residents should stay indoors during the lockdown period. No person shall move out of their homes, during the said time, the general public should leave their homes, roads or any public Traveling on foot or by vehicles is not allowed at places. ”
“The Kovid-19 epidemic has again become a threat to public health, with the Haryana government deeming it necessary to take effective measures to prevent its spread in the state,” the order said.
Those exempted from the curfew are tasked with law and order, emergencies and municipal service duties and Kovid-19 related duties with government machinery.
There will be no restriction on the people engaged in the manufacture of essential commodities and the movement of essential and non-essential items and those who appear for the examination. The situation of Kovid-19 is critical in the city, especially in the last three weeks, there has been a severe shortage of beds, oxygen and medicines of Kovid-19 hospitals.
By order, only law and order, municipal services, health, electricity, fire, government machinery, Kovid-19 related duties, executive magistrates, policemen, military, Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), accredited journalists Are allowed to work, although they must show their identity card.
The order further states that there will be no restriction on the movement of inter-state and inter-state essential and non-essential items. Hospitals, veterinary hospitals and all related medical establishments, including their manufacturing and distribution units, both in the public and private sector such as dispensaries, chemists, pharmacies (including mass medicine centers) and medical equipment shops, laboratories, drug research laboratories, clinics , Nursing home, ambulance will continue to work. Transportation of all medical personnel, nurses, paramedical, other hospital support services will be allowed.
Under the Commercial and Private Establishment category, which engaged employees of telecommunications, Internet services, broadcast and cable services, IT services.
