“My son with autism spectrum disorder is the different child in the class. We invited all his classmates to his birthday party today and only one turned up.”Chen wrote on his Twitter account.

The tweet was accompanied by a picture which showed that the place was deserted.

“It is difficult to explain to my son and the child’s mother that only one classmate came. No perception, but still a day to feel the emptiness.” Added.

What was unbelievable was that, according to Mail Online, two weeks before Max’s party, 16 of the minors attended the party of their other classmates.

Users unite to send gifts to children

Dozens of users came out in Max’s support after the post went viral. Some invited him to birthday parties, while others sent him tickets to football games. Even the Metro Vancouver Transit Police invited the kid for a car ride.

Speaking to local media, Mr Chen revealed that the parents contacted him a few days later to apologise. He found the email not in the main tray, but in “spam” as he claimed.
