He invites his teammates, but Lewandowski doesn’t want to pay a huge bill at Salt Bae’s restaurant

The dispute between the Polish Football Federation (PZPN) and Robert Lewandowski, because the forward wants to avoid paying a bill at the Nusr-et restaurant, owned by chef and influencer Salt Bae, during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after he was invited to dinner by the entire staff.

According to the information leaked by PZPN himself, the FC Barcelona attacker invited the entire Polish National Team to a dinner at the famous establishment after the goalless draw against Mexico, because as captain he wanted to make a great atmosphere for the Players.

And although Lewandowski was handling the account at the time, it seems he sent the invoice to the Polish Federation to pay the money.

“The truth is that Robert paid for the dinner with his own money and never expected or received a refund from PZPN,” said Tomasz Zawislak, a friend and adviser to the 35-year-old player.

“The rumor that Robert invoiced PZPN expenses is a lie,” he clarified.

After his first season in Spanish football, Robert Lewandowski found remarkable differences in relation to the Bundesliga and did not hesitate to express them publicly.

“The League is not offensive or attractive. The Spanish referees kill the League,” said the forward in an interview with Meczykipl and Eleven Sports.

The words from the FC Barcelona forward come after a complaint with the referee on the Osasuna field that cost him a three-game suspension.

According to the minutes presented by referee Jesús Gil Manzano, “once the player was sent off and when he was heading to the exit of the field, he made a gesture of disapproval of the decision twice, always putting his finger on his nose, pointing. then with the thumb to the whistle.”
