Sweets: The key is not to skip them but to consume them responsibly
The colour, shape and taste make cakes a true temptation, but sometimes the fact that they are foods full of sugar and flour makes us scared of them. The key isn’t whether or not to skip them, but to consume them responsibly, or find ways to replace some of the ingredients to get a healthier cake.
Here are 7 tips that can help you cut some calories and make these recipes a little healthier.
1. Reduce sugar intake. It sounds obvious, but what happens is that there are many cake recipes that contain way more sugar than is actually needed, and some even contain more than one type of sugar.
