Hero Motocorp, the world’s largest (by sales) two-wheeler manufacturer, today introduced its famous commuter motorcycle Glamor with new advanced features in the domestic market. Adorned with an attractive look and strong engine capacity, this bike has been introduced in two variants. The price of its drum brake variant has been fixed at Rs 78,900 and for the disc brake variant at Rs 83,500.
What’s special about Hero Glamor Xtec:
The company has made some changes in the new Glamor, which makes it much better than the standard model. The bike gets Bluetooth connectivity function, turn-by-turn navigation system, ‘integrated USB charging’, Google Map connectivity with call and SMS alerts. Apart from this, gear position indicator, eco mode, tachometer and real time mileage indicator (RTMi) have also been given in the high-level cluster.
The company has also taken full care of safety in this bike. The motorcycle also gets side-stand visual indication and a segment-first ‘side-stand engine cut-off’ system. The bike also gets a bank-angle-sensor that shuts down the engine when the bike falls. It gets a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the rear and 180 mm of ground clearance with a 240 mm disc brake at the front.

As far as the style and design are concerned, in the Glamor Xtec, the company has used LED headlamps with better lighting lights. The company claims that it provides about 34% more illumination than other bikes in the segment. Apart from this, 3D branding, rim tape and blue accents in the bike make its look even better.
The bike is powered by a 125cc XSens programmed fuel injected engine that generates 10.7 BHP of power and 10.6 Nm of torque. This engine is equipped with Auto Cell technology and the company claims that this bike provides 7% more mileage. Due to new advanced features and technology, this bike gives better performance.
