Hero has launched this sporty bike with new features and old price, many changes from the old model

There is good news for Hero bike buyers. In fact, the company has launched its popular sport bike 2022 Xtreme 160R. Some changes have been made in this new model. However, despite these changes, there has been no change in its price. That means you can buy the new model at the old price. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 1.18 lakh. The company has given this bike a gear position indicator. Earlier this feature was available on the stealth edition of the bike.

Price of all 3 variants
The 2022 Xtreme 160R has been launched in 3 variants. It will get single disc, dual disc and stealth edition variants. The single disc variant is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh ex-showroom, the dual disc variant is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh and the stealth version is priced at Rs 1.22 lakh. Braking is provided by single disc 220mm petal disc and drum brake at the rear wheel. The new model will get a different design of seat and gab rail. Let us tell you about this bike in detail.

No changes have been made to the engine
No changes have been made to the engine of the 2022 Xtreme 160R. It will get the same 163cc single-cylinder engine as before. This air-cooled fuel injected engine generates 15.2 PS of power and 14 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has telescopic suspension at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. The Hero Xtreme 160R comes with 17-inch alloy wheels. A USB charger will also be available on the bike. The bike features a muscular fuel tank, single-pod LED headlights, a wide handlebar, an upswept exhaust and an LED taillamp.

Many utility features will be available
The 2022 Xtreme 160R will get an LCD console, which provides details on gear position, fuel gauge, speedometer, tachometer and odometer. Display has welcome message and brightness setting. Hero has provided the bike with side stand cutoff sensor and full LED lighting and LED DRL with hazard lights. Hero MotoCorp has also developed auto cell technology that drives the engine in bumper-to-bumper traffic. The single disc variant has a curb weight of 138.5kgs, while the dual disc model weighs 139.5kg. It has a 12-litre capacity fuel tank.
