Retired from the seventh art after being diagnosed with dementia and aphasia, Willis was confined to his home for months with his family. Willis, who is going through the worst time of his life, as acknowledged by his family, is waiting for a miracle. His friends supported and surrounded him after his diagnosis, helping to give a better life to his loved ones and shielding him from the press. Schwarzenegger wanted to send a message of public support to him, in words collected by Cinema Blend. “Action heroes always come back,” the Terminator actor explained.
Arnold Schwarzenegger said of Willis, “I think it’s fantastic. He was a great, great movie star over the years. He always will be.” Set in action during the eighties, nineties and 2000s. “And I think he will always be remembered as a big, big star. And as a kind person. I understand that given his circumstances, especially with regard to his health, he will to be retired. But in general, you know, we never really retire. Action heroes always come back,” Schwarzenegger concluded so hopeful.
