In order to increase understanding about homosexual relations, a judge of Madras High Court has decided to seek advice from a psychologist. Justice N Anand Venkatesh has said that his understanding of gay sex is not good. To understand this he has planned an ‘educational session’ with a psychologist. The judge said that this psycho-education session will help them understand the concept of same sex relationship.
Actually Justice Venkatesh hearing a petition filed by a gay couple are doing. Meanwhile, he asked the gay couple to spend time with each other and participate in the counseling session, so that they could understand each other better. Keeping in mind the respect and safety of gay couples, the court has to pronounce further decisions, in which this session will help.
The Madras High Court was requested to issue guidelines in relation to gay couples, to which Justice Venkatesh said that he wanted more time in the case. He said that words should come from his heart, not his mind. This will not be possible until they have a complete understanding of the matter. He has asked psychology teacher Vidya Dinakaran to make an appointment as per convenience.

He said that once they understand the matter and educate and give a decision, the words will come out of their heart. In this case, he entrusted the care of a gay couple to an NGO and asked their counselor to talk to their parents and develop an understanding between them. The family of both had talked about the thinking of the society, raising many issues related to it. The court said that nothing will happen overnight, so by giving some time, positive things should be done about the gay couple in their mind.
The gay couple being talked about here are both women. The families of both the women had filed a missing complaint, which has been appealed in the High Court for closure. The court said that the psychologist believes that both women have decided to understand this relationship only. Vidya on the issue of handing the two over to their families Said that They may be forced to live separately and this will lead to their torture.
