Honduras is preparing to face its second game in the Concacaf Nations League, which is a qualifier for the Gold Cup and Copa América. The current rival is Granada.
The duel between Central Americans and Caribbeans this Tuesday at 8:10 pm at the National Stadium in Tegucigalpa, a match of four between them.
The Honduran team does not know what other result against the Granadans other than victory. ‘H’ has beaten the team of Jamal Charles, former Vida, Real España and Real Sociedad striker, in the last three matches.
The first match between the two was the 2009 Gold Cup where Honduras won easily 4-0, a team led by Reinaldo Rueda. The other two are also valid for the same tournament.
In 2011 they met again and the bicolor was merciless, giving him a 7-1 defeat where Carlo Costly scored a hattrick and the fourth of the particular series, being the best scorer in this match.
And the last is the 2021 Gold Cup, led by Fabián Coito, where the national team had no problem defeating the Granadans with a category of 4-0.
