The Claremont Museum of Arts Fall Gala will be held on September 18 at 5:30 p.m.
This year’s theme, “Imagine,” celebrates the completion of two new galleries at the historic Claremont Depot.
The main theme of the event will be the dedication of the museum’s porch in honor of Sandy Baldonado in recognition of her leadership, vision and commitment to the Callermont Museum of Art and the Claremont community.
The evening will include a wine and Horse d’Ovres reception followed by coronavirus epidemic guidelines and a dinner hosted by the Spaghetti.
The exhibition “Furious Garden” will be open for viewing, as will the newly renovated gallery spaces at the historic depot. There will be a live auction as well as a paddle auction to benefit Project ARstart at Claremont School.
The community has been invited to participate in an online auction with more than 50 works of art, which will go live on 2021cmagala.afrogs.org on September 13 at noon and end at noon on September 19. The silent auction includes oil paintings by Paul Keatles and Ann Seltzer; Watercolors by Joela Mahni, Sylvia Magardichian and Milford Jones; Ahlin Welsh and Ginger Lai jewelry; Glass by Paul Breton; Nancy McCormack Photography; And ceramics by T. Robert and John Pasini.
