How to Play Bloodborne on PC

Rumors of Bloodborne coming to PC are doing the rounds, but with no official announcement of a PC port, players are getting other mods.

Although there is no information about whether the popular FromSoftware Inc. Anytime the title will receive a remastered version for PC, players have learned that they can still play the game on their PC with the PlayStation service.

It does not require emulators or any kind of unlicensed software. The PlayStation 4 exclusive is playable on PC through the PS Now service and has since been added to the PS Now library in 2018.

Several FromSoftware games received the PC treatment, such as the Dark Souls series, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and the company’s most recent title, Elden Ring.

For a long time, fans have seen no reason for Bloodborne not to come to PC. It is likely to arrive in the future, but nothing has been officially announced yet.

Dang so now Last of Us is getting an upgraded version that’s also being brought to PC? Like that’s cool and all but we’re really about to get to the point where Bloodborne is the only major PS that isn’t on PC, right?

It has players who are looking for some other way to experience the game on PC as more and more players shift to this style of gaming while consoles come closer to each other.

Using PS Now, players can jump into Bloodborne on their PC without getting a console. If a PlayStation 4 or PS5 isn’t an available option with their new backlog, they can still get PS Now.

PS Now is no longer a standalone subscription service. It has kept its name in relation to what it has to offer, but it has been merged with the various tiers of PlayStation Plus service.

Here’s how to access PS Plus on PS Now and play Bloodborne on PC:

  • Buy PS Plus Premium ($17.99/month) subscription
  • It allows cloud streaming/saving from PS Plus games and classic catalog
  • Go to PlayStation Plus App Download Page
  • Install the app and any drivers by following the prompts
  • Open the app and sign in to the account associated with the PS Plus subscription
  • Players can browse with a controller or keyboard and mouse but a compatible controller is required to play any title.
  • Search for Bloodborne, select it, and start streaming it on PC

It is very easy to start playing the game on PC. There are only a few drawbacks, but they need to be addressed for any player who may be on the fence.

A stable internet connection is required as the game is being streamed and not played directly from PC. The better the connection, the better the game will run, and vice versa in the case of a bad connection.

@yckygrl @0ddoblivion Apparently anyone can stream PlayStation games including Bloodborne on PC via PS Now though, ftom. What have I just found out? If true, then very big.

This is a subscription service that charges a monthly fee. If this is the only game players want to access, they only need to take into account the monthly payment for one game.

Otherwise, they should definitely try out some of the other games on PS Now via PS Plus. Note that players will not own Bloodborne via this method, so it will expire if the subscription ever expires.
