Hyundai Cars India today started official bookings for its new upcoming 7-seat SUV Alcazar. This SUV was long awaited, but due to the Koran epidemic and lockdown, its launch date continued to move forward. However, from today, customers will be able to book this SEVT by depositing Rs 25,000 through the company’s official dealership.
However, no official announcement has been made by the company about the launch date of this SUV. However, according to media reports, the company may launch the new Hyundai Alcazar on June 17. This SUV will be offered in both 7-seater and 6-seater formats. The company says 75.6% high-strength steel has been used in the construction of the new Alcazar, which makes it extremely strong.
In size, this SUV will be larger than the Hyundai Cryter, its wheelbase will be 150mm longer than the Criter. Apart from this 180 liter boot space is also being given which is the best in the segment. The second row of its six-seater option means the captain seat will be given in the second row. At the same time, the bench seat is being offered in 7 seater variants.
The company will supply Alcazar with both petrol and diesel options. Its petrol variant has a 2.0-liter engine that generates 159PS of power and 192Nm of torque. In addition, the diesel variant uses a 1.5-liter engine that generates 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque. This engine has 6 speed manual and automatic torque converter automatic gearbox.
The company claims that this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 10 seconds. The Hyundai Alcazar is offered with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that can be connected to Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Bluelink connection with Voice Recognition, .0.0-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, Panoramic Sunroof, Air Airbag, Vehicle Stabilization System, Isofix Mountsets Seats, Healy Start, Anti-Lock Braking System Will be available.
