Hyundai Ionic 5 electric SUV tested, with 301bhp power will get range up to 481 kms

In the electric SUV segment, Hyundai is preparing to launch its new SUV Ioniq 5. The company has not yet announced the launch date of the electric SUV, but the EV has already been spotted on the road during tests in Chennai. After seeing the test model of Ioniq 5 on the road, it is speculated that this electric SUV may be launched in India soon. This electric SUV offers 301bhp of power and ranges up to 481km.

Brave and aggressive looking SUV
The worldwide launch of this electric SUV from Hyundai took place in February this year. Looking at the spy photo of the SUV, it can be said that this SUV is very advanced and is going to come up with a future design. The rear look of the SUV looks quite bold and aggressive due to the hidden LED taillights. For the first time, the company is offering a clamshell hood in this SUV for the best aerodynamics, which reduces the gap between the panels. Also, the V-shaped DRL SUV offered on the front bumper looks more premium.

Maximum speed 185kmph and range 481km
The company has built the Ionic 5 on an electric-global modular platform. This SUV will come with two battery pack options – 58kWh and 72kWh. Also, there will be two electric motor layout options – rear motor only and second rear and front motor. The rear motor variant of the SUV is equipped with an electric all-wheel drive system. Its combined power is 301bhp and torque is 605Nm. The SUV has a top speed of 185kmph and a range of 481km.
