Hyundai Staria: See the new powerful MPV in pictures, Innova will compete with features and technology

South Korea’s top vehicle maker Hyundai has released a teaser of its new upcoming Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Starry. There are plenty of hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs in the company’s portfolio in the global market but the MPV segment does not have a specific vehicle. There has long been news that the company is working on an MPV for the South Asian market.

Now the company has officially unveiled its new upcoming MPV Hyundai Staria. Let us know that the company has recently registered the Staria trademark for India as well as many other Asian markets. The company registered the trademark on June 1, 2020 at the Intellectual Property Office in the Philippines.

The teaser released by the company shows the front, side and rear views of the car and this MPVT looks quite attractive. Its name consists of two English words ‘Tara’ and ‘Riya’. The company says it points to the future of the car. Its design looks inspired by a spaceship.

Here’s the design: The front of the Hyundai Starry has a large mass grille, LED daytime running lights and square-shaped LED headlights. In addition to these, the large LED taillights on the back of the car give the car a future appeal. This car has a panoramic window which gives it a more premium look.

Engine capacity: However, the company has not yet shared any information about the MPV process. However, experts believe that if it is introduced in the Indian market, it could be given a 1.5-liter capacity natural ambitious petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine. Both these engines come with manual and automatic gearbox. If launched in the Indian market, it will be a premium MPV and will initially compete with vehicles like the Toyota Innova.
