Hyundai to compete with Alcazar

Kia India is all set to launch its fourth car codename Kia KY in the Indian market. It will be the company’s 3-raw car which can be named Kia Carens. It will be offered in 6 and 7 seater variants and will be placed under the company’s luxurious MPV Kia Carnival. The company is expected to bring affordable new cars to strengthen its hold in the MPV segment in India.

Internal picture leaked
Recently, car interior photos were leaked online. It is learned that the Kia KY will get a three-spoke steering wheel, with mounted controls and buttons for cruise control. Also, large digital driver displays and large touchscreen infotainment systems are clearly visible on the dashboard. Also, you’ll be offered features like automatic climate control, connected car technology, ambient lighting, touch-enabled buttons.

The Kia KY will be built on the same platform as the Kia Seltos. If seen, this is a 7-seater version of the Celtos, with a new design and some extra features. If seen, this Kia MPV is being brought in contrast to Hyundai’s Alcazar. Kier’s new car may be officially unveiled on December 16th.

Speaking of engines, the Kia KY could be offered with a 1.5-liter diesel engine and a 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine like the Celtos. Its petrol engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 140hp, while its diesel engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 115 hp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. Both engines can come with manual and automatic transmission options.
