Iconic Brand BSA Motorcycle Returns, New Gold Star Bike, 650cc Engine

Iconic British bike company BSA Motorcycles is back. Classic Legends, a company in the Mahindra Group, has worked to revive the motorcycle brand. The company unveiled their first model at a special event in Birmingham, UK. The company has come up with the first BSA Gold Star bike. This bike was sold between 1938 and 1963. Then the bike would come in 350 cc and 500 cc engines.

The name of the new bike may be BSA Goldstar 650. The new bike will be on public display from December 4 to December 12. It could get a 650 cc single cylinder engine, which would compete with the Royal Enfield 650 Twins in the UK. This engine will generate 47hp of power and 40Nm of peak torque. It will be a liquid cooled engine. It will get front and rear disc brakes with dual channel ABS as standard.

The bike will have many latest features including retro design. It has a round shaped headlamp, in which DRL is integrated. Also available are fuel tanks with LED tail lamps, tear drop shape and wide handlebars. It will also have a wide fender at the front and back. From headlamps to fuel tamps, it has a lot of chrome uses. We tell you that BSA motorcycles were discontinued in the 1970s. But since 2016, Mahindra’s affiliate Classic Legends has been running it.
