The former president of Metro de Santiago, Louis de Grange published the invitation he had received to attend the inauguration Line 3 the Santiago subway.
The extension of this subway line began its white march on Monday September 4th and during these weeks the trains ran without passengers to test the functionalities of the service.
The line will have three new stations, all located in the community Quilicura; is about: Railway, Lo Cruzat j Quilicura Square.
This new section will have an extension of 3.8 kilometers, adding to the service’s original 22 kilometers and will benefit 271,000 people.
When will the extension of Line 3 of the Santiago Metro be inaugurated?
From the invitation published by the former Metro President, it appears that the inauguration of the extension of Line 3 of the Santiago Metro will take place on Monday, September 25th at 12:30 p.m
Operations at the new passenger train stations would then begin around 3:00 p.m.
“His Excellency the President of the Republic Gabriel Boric, together with the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Juan Carlos Muñoz Abogabir and the President of the Metro Guillermo Muñoz Senda, are pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the extension of Line 3 of the Metro , which will take place on Monday, September 25th at 12:30 p.m. at the Plaza Quilicura station,” reads the invitation published by de Grange on his X account (ex Twitter).
