The statement said, Team India pacer Umesh Yadav appeared for the fitness test at Motera on 21 February. He has cleared his fitness test and has now been included in the squad for the last two Tests of the India-England Test series.

The four-match Test series is tied at 1-1. Two matches were played in Chennai. The first match was won by England while the second match was won by India. The third Test will be played from February 24, which will be the first day-night Test between these two teams.
