From the wall of the Red Fort, Prime Minister Modi’s speech …
Congratulations to all on this special occasion of Independence Day. A day to remember our great freedom fighters.
In honor of our players, let’s applaud and honor them for a few moments. Respect for India’s sports, respect for India’s young generation, respect for those who have made India proud
In the global epidemic of corona, our doctors, nurses, our paramedical staff, scavengers, scientists, scientists engaged in vaccine making, citizens engaged in service, they all deserve worship.
Whether it is Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, Sardar Patel, who turned the country into a united state, or Babasaheb Ambedkar, who showed India the way to the future, the country remembers every person, the country is indebted to them all.
We celebrate independence, but the pain of partition still haunts India. This is one of the great tragedies of the last century. The country made only one emotional decision yesterday. From now on, August 1 will be remembered as Partition Horror Memorial Day.
This time of coronation has come as a great challenge in front of the entire human race, which is in front of our country which is moving forward on the path of progress. The people of India have fought this war with restraint and patience.
There comes a time in the development journey of every country, when that country redefines itself, moves itself forward with new resolutions. Today is the time for India’s development journey.
Starting from here, the journey of the next 25 years is the nectar of the creation of a new India. The fulfillment of our decision in this nectar age will take us up to 100 years of independence.
The determination is incomplete until the culmination of hard work and heroism. That is why we have to live by proving all our resolutions by finalizing our hard work and energy.
– All together – All development – All faith, we are all employed with this respect. Today I am calling from the Red Fort – all together – all development – all faith and now everyone’s efforts to achieve each of our goals is very important.
Now we have to move towards saturation. 100% of the villages have roads, 100% of the families have bank accounts, 100% of the beneficiaries have Ayushman Bharat card, 100% of the eligible people have Ujjwala gas connection.
The rice that the government gives to the poor under its various schemes will be strong, it will give nutritious rice to the poor. Whether it is rice available in ration shops, rice available in mid-day meal, rice available through each scheme will be strong by 20224.
India needs to make full use of its potential to take India to new heights in the 21st century. For this, we have to hold the hand of the square behind us, the area behind it.
Ladakh has also moved towards its limitless potential for development. On the one hand, Ladakh is witnessing the creation of modern infrastructure, on the other hand, ‘Sindhu Central University’ is going to develop Ladakh as a center of higher learning.
We have also aroused the aspirations of the districts of the country for which it was believed that they were lagging behind. Schemes related to education, health, nutrition, roads, employment are being given priority in more than 110 ambitious districts of the country. Many of these districts are in tribal areas.
Today we see our villages changing rapidly. Roads and electricity are being provided in the village for the last few years. Now optical fiber network, data, internet is reaching the villages. Digital entrepreneurs are also being prepared in the villages.
There are more than 80 million sisters in the village who are associated with our self-help group, they make multiple products. Now the government will create an e-commerce platform for their products to find a bigger market at home and abroad.
Referring to the farmers, Prime Minister Modi said from the wall of the Red Fort – the land of the farmers is getting smaller. 80 percent of the farmers have less than 2 hectares of land. Out of 100 farmers, 80 are small farmers in the country. The policy that was made earlier in the country, the policy that should have been done on small farmers, the focus that should have been on them, did not happen.
Becoming a small farmer is the pride of the country, this is our dream. In the coming years, the combined strength of our small farmers will have to increase. They have to give new benefits.
We celebrate independence, but the pain of partition still haunts India.
Look to the past as far as possible. Drink the water of the eternal fountain flowing behind you. Then look to the front. Go ahead and make India brighter, bigger, better than before.
The country has made a very important decision. Within 75 weeks of Azad’s Amrit Mahotsav, India will connect every part of the country with 75 bands. The country has decided that the India Train will connect every corner of the country with 755 bunds within 5 weeks of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Today, the pace at which new airports are being built in the country, the UDAN project connecting remote areas is also unprecedented.
In addition to modern infrastructure, India also needs to adopt an holistic approach to infrastructure construction. In the coming days, India is going to launch the Prime Minister’s Energy-National Master Plan.
The Prime Minister of India will present the National Master Plan of Kinetic Energy to the country in the coming days. More than Rs 100 lakh crore scheme will bring new employment opportunities to millions of youth. It will be a master plan that will lay the foundation for the overall infrastructure. There is no coordination in the means of transportation at the moment. It will break this stalemate.
India needs to increase both its production and exports as it moves towards development. You see, just a few days ago, India launched its first domestic aircraft carrier INS Vikrant for testing at sea. Today, India is building its own warplanes, submarines, and spacecraft.
– All manufacturers in the country must understand this – the product you send is not just a product made by your company. It involves the identity of India, the prestige, the confidence of the people of India. That is why I am telling the manufacturers that every one of your products is a brand ambassador of India. As long as that product is being used, the buyer will say – yes it is made in India.
We have seen that thousands of new start-ups have been formed in the Corona era, they are working successfully. Tomorrow’s start-ups are turning into today’s unicorns. Their market value is reaching thousands of crores of rupees.
Good and smart governance is needed to implement reforms. Today the world is also witnessing how India is writing a new chapter of governance here.
Unnecessary laws need to be repealed. The country had a law in place 200 years ago, due to which the citizens of the country did not have the freedom to make maps.
200 years ago, there was a law going on among us, due to which the citizens of the country did not have the freedom to make maps. If you want to make a map, ask the government, if the map is lost, there were arrests. Today every phone has a map app. Satellite has so much power. How can we take the country forward with the burden of such laws?
Today, the country also has a new ‘National Education Policy’ to meet the needs of the 21st century. When the daughter of the poor, the son of the poor becomes a professional by studying in his mother tongue, he will be judged according to his ability. I see the new national education policy as a tool in the fight against poverty.
The new national education policy has another special feature. It has made sports a part of mainstream education instead of curriculum. Sports are also one of the most effective ways to move forward in life.
Promising people can be found in the mother tongue. Those who have studied in their mother tongue will have more confidence if they come forward.
Announcement of National Hydrogen Mission. We need to make India a global hub for the production and export of green hydrogen in nectar. This will lead India to new advances in energy and make it self-sufficient.
Today is also the birth anniversary of the great thinker of the country, Sri Aurobindo. His 150th birthday in 2022. He used to say that we need to be as strong as we were before. We must have changed our habits, revived ourselves with a new heart.
Without naming China and Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi said that today the world is looking at India from a new perspective and this perspective has two important aspects. One is terrorism and the other is expansionism. India is fighting both these challenges and responding with great courage in a tactical manner.
By surgical and air strikes, India has warned the enemies that we are no less than anyone.
I am not a prophet, I believe in the fruit of my deeds. I have confidence in the youth of the country. I believe in the sisters and daughters of the country, the farmers of the country, the professionals of the country. This is what the generation can do, it can achieve every goal.
No obstacle can stand in the way of fulfilling India’s dreams and aspirations in the 21st century. Our strength is our life force, our strength is our solidarity. Our life force, race first, always first soul.
This is the time, this is the right time, this is the precious time of India. There are innumerable weapons, there is devotion for the country everywhere, you get up and lift the tricolor, lift the destiny of India. This is the time, this is the right time, this is the precious time of India. There is nothing that cannot be done, there is nothing that cannot be achieved, you get up, you get involved, you know your potential, you know your duty to everyone, this is the precious time of India, this is the time, this is the right time.
