India stands second in T20, know where in ODI

New Delhi The International Cricket Council has also released the ranking of T20. In the latest T20 team rankings, the Indian team has retained its second position, while it has lost one place in the ODIs and has slipped to number three. New Zealand has replaced England to take the number one position in ODIs.

According to a report by Cricinfo, this ranking was released on Monday after the annual update. Kiwi team has reached the top in ODI rankings. New Zealand has topped the world champions by removing the world champion England from the top position. New Zealand have gained two places and have a total of 121 points.

In the new update, all matches played after May 2020 have been kept at 100 percent, while the marks of the last two years’ matches have been reduced to 50 percent. Australia are at number two with 118 points. India and England both have 115 but India are in third place due to better position in decimal digits. England have now slipped to number four.

Meanwhile, England have retained their top position in the T20 rankings. England have 277 points while India are five ratings points behind. New Zealand has also benefited in the T20 rankings. The Kiwi team has moved up from number five to number three. The team has beaten the West Indies, Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh during this period. Australia’s team has slipped from third to fifth place.

Sri Lanka and Bangladesh gain one place to eighth and ninth place respectively. The West Indies team is ranked 10th due to a two-place loss. The 2017-18 results are not included in the T20 rankings update, but the rankings have been prepared based on matches played in 2019-20.
