Pakistan has continued its nefarious antics. He opened heavy fire from across the border on the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday. During this, five security forces personnel and six civilians lost their lives but the Indian troops retaliated strongly. Eight Pak soldiers were killed and 12 others were injured. In this regard, four Indian Army personnel, a sub-inspector of BSF, have been killed in firing by Pakistan during several ceasefire violations between Gurez and Uri sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, six civilians have also lost their lives. Not only this, four security forces personnel and eight civilians were injured.
Many bunkers of Pakistan Army, fuel piles destroyed
Officials said that the Pakistan Army has resorted to heavy firing and shelling, targeting villages and further areas along the Line of Control in Poonch district. Several videos released by the Indian Army destroyed several Pakistani bases and bunkers across the LoC, some of which were engulfed in flames after Indian retaliation. Sources said that according to Pakistani Army communications, two special commandos were among those killed. In addition, several bunkers, fuel stacks and terrorist launch pads of the Pakistan Army across the LoC were destroyed and set on fire.
Illegal ceasefire violation started
Srinagar-based defense spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that Pakistan used mortars and other weapons and deliberately targeted civilian areas. “Pakistan has started illegal ceasefire violations along the Line of Control,” he said. It includes areas such as Davar, Keran, Uri and Naugam. The nation honors the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers who have died in this action. Officials said that two civilians were killed in Kamalkot sector in Uri, while one woman died in Balakote area in Haji Pir area. This was the second infiltration attempt by Pakistan within a week.
