There was a discussion that the players would reach Mumbai on 19 May to complete a two-week quarantine period. But it is understood that the Indian Cricket Board is also giving an option that the players come to Mumbai on May 24 and stay in the hotel for a week in quarantine.
A source said, “Two dates have been discussed and a final decision in this regard will be taken in the next few days. The team has to leave from the charter plane and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) can arrange testing in the players’ homes.” is.
England has placed India in the red list due to Corona being affected, so the Indian players and staff will have to stay in Quarantine for 10 days even after reaching England. His corona tests will also be done during his stay in Quarantine.
After completing the quarantine period and passing the test, the Virat Kohli-led team will get a chance to practice for four days in view of the final match of the World Test Championship against New Zealand from 18 June.
