India’s home team Karnataka defeated the Netherlands. The Dutch team’s camp is set up in Bengaluru; Samrath and Padikkal played half-century innings

The Netherlands team played a practice match against India’s home team Karnataka on Monday (25 September). The Karnataka team defeated the Netherlands team who came to play the World Cup by 142 runs. Most of the uncapped players are playing for the Karnataka team. Despite this, the team defeated the Netherlands. There are 10 teams participating in the ODI World Cup 2023, one of which is the Netherlands.

This is not a practice match for the World Cup. The Netherlands team will play their first World Cup practice match against Australia on 30 September and the second against India on 3 October. The Netherlands team has been camping in Bengaluru for the past few days to prepare for the World Cup.

Netherlands’ bowling attack was better during the practice match against Karnataka. They all out bowled Karnataka for 264 runs in 46 overs. For the Netherlands, Vikramjit Singh and Kyle Klein took 3 wickets each. For Karnataka, R. Samrath scored 81 runs and Devdutt Padikkal scored 56 runs.

However, the Netherlands team failed to chase down 265 runs and were all out for 122 runs. Vasuki Kaushik and Vidwat Kawerappa took 4 wickets each for Karnataka. Similarly, the Netherlands team had to face a huge loss of 142 runs.

After the humiliating defeat against the Karnataka team, Netherlands Cricket gave information about this match by tweeting on its official social media account X (Twitter). He wrote in the tweet- Today we lost to Karnataka by 142 runs. Not a good start to the World Cup campaign, but we will keep our spirits up and come back stronger day by day.

The Netherlands will start their campaign against Pakistan
The ODI World Cup will start in India from October 5. The first match will be held between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Netherlands will start their World Cup campaign against Pakistan on 6 October.

On October 14, the high voltage match between India and Pakistan will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
