Indonesian WhatsApp users can now send 2GB files and create groups of up to 512 people

New useful features are constantly being added to the WhatsApp application.

WhatsApp users who frequently send large files like photos and videos can now send files up to a maximum size of 2 GB once sent.

With a file size of 2GB, you can easily send large work files such as video editing results, animations, presentation videos and more.

Whereas earlier, WhatsApp users could only send files with a maximum size of 100 MB.

This maximum file size limit of 2GB can be enjoyed on WhatsApp Android version 2.222.17.76 and WhatsApp iOS version 22.18.76.

So for those of you still using the version below, update immediately via Google Play or the App Store.

When sending files larger than 2 GB, a pop-up window will appear warning that the maximum file size is 2,000 MB.

Previously, this warning message appeared when sending files larger than 100 MB.

Update other important features

In addition to the maximum file size that can be sent up to 2GB, now WhatsApp users in Indonesia can also enjoy the React feature update.

For a single WhatsApp group, now users can also enter up to 512 people, from the previous version which was only 256 people.

Users can mute or send messages to other members by briefly tapping and holding a member in a group call session.

Another update allows Android users to easily transfer conversation history to iPhone.

These new features of WhatsApp can be enjoyed in the WhatsApp version 2.22.17.76 (Android) application, which was released last August 29.

Whereas iPhone users can enjoy it on WhatsApp version 22.18.76 (iOS) which was released last August 31.
