Indoorwall starts a new phase. The Climbing Wall brand presents its new CEO, Olga Alamillo, who was the company’s financial director until today. Alamilo, who has been with the company since 2020, also has training and experience in team management. Alamillo thus takes over until a few weeks before the company’s CEO, Israel Macia, continues as chairman of the board of directors. “Despite continuing to work in other business areas of the company, we are all imbued with the essence of Israel, which will somehow help us in this new phase,” Olga Alamillo explained to CMDSport.
The future passes through the united states
The banner currently manages 12 climbing walls, with the last two due to be inaugurated in 2022 in Getafe and Palma de Mallorca. “We have no plans to open any new climbing walls this year. We are setting up a new business model, which is different from what we have been doing so far, and which we will report on later,” says Alamilo Are.
At the same time, Banner sets a goal of landing in the United States in 2024. However, the new CEO announced that “before the end of 2023, we expect to be able to say something about Indoorwall landing in that market.”
Olga Alamillo has indicated that “we are not completely ruling out landing in other European countries, but, for now, we are 100% focused on the United States project.”
Low billing
The growth spurt is already a fact in our country, and there are many companies that are committed to investing in this sector. That’s why, Alamillo, predicts that “the increase in theaters could lead to a drop in billings due to increased competition, although that’s something we’re already considering and we’re not worried about.” Are.”
After that, the instruction indicated that “competition is normal and will be greater, but we are not afraid. We know that if we offer a good product, users will continue to trust us.”
