At least two complaints have been filed with police against Karine Breard, an entrepreneur from Blainville who allegedly extorted hundreds of thousands of dollars from her clients before leaving them in the middle of renovations.
Our investigative bureau revealed last week that Karine Breard and one of her companies, TP Maison, had given many pains to owners who wanted to renovate or build their home last year.
In the course of our relationship, at least two complaints were filed with the police against a businesswoman at the head of several different companies.
The Granby State Police Department confirms a customer who believes he was defrauded filed a complaint for “fraud” last Tuesday.
“The work that has never been done is important”, explains the speaker Marc Farand, who confirms that the problem has been solved.
Former partner Karine Breard – who had done business with her in another company – filed a complaint with the Montreal police, according to our information.
But the Royal Police did not want to confirm this event, citing the reasons as confidential.
He was thrown out of his house
In addition, Karine Breard must leave the luxurious Blainville residence that she rented, keeping the order on Friday morning from the Superior Court, at the Saint-Jérôme market.

The official address of TP Maison and several companies run by Karine Breard is that of this luxurious residence in Blainville.
Karine Breard, most of her company and some business partners all say they live in this mansion, which notably has an indoor pool.
But this house belongs to a former dentist who is now fighting in court to reduce his property. She had rented it from a company owned by Karine Breard, which is now in bankruptcy protection.
The tenant – who has not paid the rent for a few months – must return the keys to the house no later than April 15, under penalty of eviction.
The court also orders the entrepreneur not to use the address of this residence any more for his partner companies or businesses. Modification of this information must be made to the Registrar of Companies within 10 days.
This order is valid until the month of December, when the parties will return to court to discuss the dispute regarding this residence.

It should also be noted that the Facebook pages and pages of Kare Construction and M Ébénisterie, two companies belonging to Karine Breard, have disappeared from the Internet after the publication of our report.
These sites used images of renovation projects by other contractors without authorization, including photographs taken from the residence of actress Isabella Richer. However, the actress never had an affair with Karine Breard.
