Intellihealth appoints Executive VP of Clinical Operations and makes more digital health appointments

Obesity-focused health care technology company IntelliHealth has appointed Anne Lorenzo as executive vice president of clinical operations.

She will manage the clinical operations staff at Intellihealth’s clinical services affiliate, Flight Medical.

Flite gives users access to metabolic health experts, including nurse practitioners, physicians and registered dietitians, focused on providing obesity care through Evolve, IntelliHealth’s digital health platform.

Lorenzo was previously vice president of professional services at Propeller Health, a digital respiratory health company. She was also vice president of business development and operations at Higi, a manufacturer of health-checking kiosks found in grocery stores and pharmacies.

She was vice president of US clinical operations at the now-defunct London-based multinational digital health firm Babylon following Higgy’s acquisition by Babylon. She was Director of Operations at CirrusMD and Vice President of Sales Operations at MDLive.

Healthcare technology company athenahealth announced the appointment of David Minkin as General Manager of Epocrates, the company’s digital clinical decision support subsidiary.

Minkin previously worked at Dow Jones/News Corp. and at athenahealth, will oversee strategy, development and operations for Epocrates.
