New Delhi The 14th season of IPL is going to start from April 9, with which all the teams have started preparations. To win the IPL title, foreign and native players have started sweating by joining the teams and practicing net. Meanwhile, England veteran Stormy Jason Roy will be seen playing in the 14th season of the IPL. He will be seen playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Jason Roy has been included in the squad in place of all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.
Michelle Marsh does not want to stay in the bio bubble for long. Because of this, he has decided to opt out of the IPL. With the departure of Mitchell Marsh, the franchise has added Jason Roy to the team. The addition of Jason Roy will further strengthen Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting. Star batsmen like captain David Warner, Johnny Bairstow, Kane Williamson are already in the team.
Jason Roy has been rewarded for his good performance in the T20 and ODI series against India. He gave England a brilliant start with Johnny Bairstow in two matches of the ODI series. In the first match, there was a partnership of 135 runs between the two and 110 runs in the second match. Jason Roy contributed 46 and 55 runs in it.
Earlier, he was not sold in the players’ auction for the 14th season of IPL. Jason Roy was bought by Delhi Capitals last year but decided to stay out of the IPL due to personal reasons. Prior to this he has also played for Gujarat Lions.
