The company iRobot announced the market launch of the 2-in-1 Roomba Combo j9+ robot vacuum cleaner and floor cleaner and the Roomba j9+ robot vacuum cleaner, its most advanced models, which includes the new software -iRobot OS 7.0-, where the company promises a “smarter and more efficient” floor cleaning. It was detailed by the CEO of the company, Colin Angle, in an event held in Madrid, which focused on the integration of two new digital technologies, Dirt Detective and SmartScrub. The first of these allows the most powerful and intelligent robots to know where the dirtiest areas of the house are and the best way to clean them, while the SmartScrub removes the toughest dirt with double depth scrubbing.
“iRobot believes that users should trust a robot’s ability to deliver on the promise of efficient, automated cleaning. If a robot keeps getting stuck, lost, soiling carpets with wet wipes mops, etc., the customer’s trust in that product will be destroyed,” said Colin Angulo.
Advanced iRobot OS technology creates an accurate map of your home up to seven times faster and automatically names rooms.
