“It happened close to you”: new narratives return to these sordid stories that happened in Quebec

For the second season of the documentary series, director Bernard Nadeau and his team focus on eight new stories of murders, some of which have not been hidden, that took place here in Quebec.

The second episode of the series concerns the murder of real estate agent Julie Morrison, whose charred remains were found in a burnt-out vehicle in Ozias-Leduc in Otterburn Park, Montérégie, in 2013.

Their ex-boyfriend, Louis Pelletier, a man with a previously disturbed and known to the police, five years later, was convicted of first degree murder and contempt of body.

Completely different from the type of people usually associated with the sector, Pelletier is described by relatives of the victim as “always dirty, poorly dressed, missing teeth and who does not seem to have much education”.
