The body of Vitória Rocha Oliveira, 21, was found burned inside the hearth in the residence of the neighborhood of Lemi, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, after several neighbors, the police were called after hearing loud cries coming from the room.
The girl, originally from the municipality of Parauapebas, came to the state of Rio Grande do Sul about two months ago to meet a 37-year-old man she met through social media and with whom she had a romantic relationship.
According to local media, the victim’s relatives indicated Laila Vitória is getting some attacks on this topiche was known as André Vila, whose relationship he had decided to end and return to the state of Paradise. But the man refused to accept it, so the argument broke out in the apartment.

Previous versions of the investigation suggested that Laila’s murder was the product of a satanic ritual execution by Samedi, for broken love. However, Jean Maicon Kruse, the suspect’s lawyer, denied the wrongdoing charges, despite the apparent black magic involved, so the authorities ruled out this theory.
“Although the house of this religion has all the riddles, yet we have not found any riddle that would lead us to understand that it is a certain ritual. What we verify is that we are in from state gender violence to envya relationship that had developed with a lot of fighting and a lot of hostility”, declared Cristiane Ramos, investigative delegate of the case.
On the other hand, according to police records, the suspect has a notorious reputation as a murderer, having been convicted in 2007 of a triple attempted murder.
Francisca da Silva Rocha, the mother of the victim, said that her daughter did not want to travel to Porto Alegre at the beginning and had already set the date of her return to the rural Parauapebas for the end of March. The girl’s body can now transfer money to her home country.
The crime was committed on the night of Saturday, March 25, 2023.
