Jack Ciattarelli Wins NJ Republican Gubernatorial Primary

Former New Jersey House member Jack Ciattarelli was elected state governor on June 8. He will face the New Jersey government, Phil Murphy, in the November general election.

Ciattarelli defeats Brian Levine, former Somerset County free agent, pastor Phil Rizzo and businessman and longtime candidate Hirsh Singh. With 99 percent of the area, Ciatterelli earned 49.6 percent of the vote, compared to 25.8 percent for Rizzo and 21.5 for Singh.
