That’s all. It’s all about the guy, he’s an action star. He is big for his age. I say – relax, some films work and some don’t, this is life. I have done 250 films and all of them are good. Well then. It totally depends on the team, it is a team work.

Never saw any task so small

Jackie Shroff says he has never seen a job so small. He started with small jobs before making his acting debut in Dev Anand’s film ‘Swami Dada’ in 1982, in which he had a small role. It was ‘Bayani’, directed by Subhash Ghai, that catapulted him to stardom.

‘I remember I used to sell peanuts’

He said, ‘Whatever work is given to me, I always do the same. Like, I remember I sold peanuts at first, then I had a job pasting movie posters on the walls, I worked in a clothing store, then joined a travel agency. Then someone asked me if I’m going to model?’, I was like, ‘Are you going to make a movie?’ I did. ‘So, I keep myself open to doing all kinds of things. I am always honest and disciplined, whatever work is given to me, I do it honestly. I just went with it and never got stressed about anything.
