Director Christopher Nolan has always declared himself a James Bond fan… Will he fulfill his dream?
Christopher Nolan, known for directing the Dark Knight trilogy and films such as Inception (2010), Interstellar (2017) and who is now successful in Oppenheimer (2023), is in talks to direct not one, but two James Bond films, according to the latest WOR reports.
Barbara Broccoli, producer of the James Bond franchise, is considering Nolan to direct a Bond film. However, Nolan pushed for full creative control and the opportunity to write the scripts for both films.
Is it possible?
The current plan is for Christopher Nolan to direct two Bond installments, which suggests he has big plans for the franchise. This could lead to a two-part film before handing over the franchise to another director, possibly with a new actor for the role of James Bond. Something that is fighting with those responsible for the saga, who want 4 or 5 films with the same actor, something that is very good at the time of Daniel Craig.
If negotiations with Nolan fail, other directors have been discussed as possible backup options, including Danny Boyle, Denis Villeneuve and Paul Greengrass.
In addition, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the favorite to play the new James Bond and this actor has already worked with Christopher Nolan on Tenet.

Earlier this year, Nolan had this to say about the possibility of directing a James Bond adventure in the future.
“I love those movies. The influence of those films on my filmography is embarrassingly obvious. It is an incredible privilege to do so. At the same time, when you take on an attitude like that, you’re working with a particular set of limitations. So it was a kind of responsibility that I also felt when I faced Batman.
“You don’t want to make a film without full commitment to what you bring to the table.”
