Who can resist seeing Ozark again? Jason Bateman can’t.
during Entertainment Weekly around the table Along with the cast of Ozark, Bateman revealed that he began rewatching the hit series with his teenage daughter, Francesca, who never appeared on the show.
“Last night and the night before, my 15-year-old daughter and I sat down and watched episode 1 and episode 2 of the show,” Bateman said. “It’s the big deal. I haven’t seen him in five years; he’s never seen the show.”
Francesca surprisingly never saw her father act before.
“For some reason he finally decided to watch Ozark,” said the actor.

“She’s never seen anything like I’ve ever done, because you know, if you have kids they usually leave it up to everyone except you,” he said. “It’s been weird for him to see me [camera] And I get it, it’s not unusual.”
Bateman starred as Martin “Marty” Byrd in the critically acclaimed drama alongside Laura Linney (Wendy Byrde), Skyler Gartner (Jonah Byrde) and Sophia Hublitz (Charlotte Byrd).
The series, which originally premiered in 2017, ended its final season on Friday. The series follows financial advisor Marty, who moves his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks to rob him of $500 million over five years to please a Mexican cartel drug boss.
After the series finale on Netflix, Bateman took to Twitter to thank his fans who have supported the show.
“Just want to say hello and thank all the good people who have given Ozarks a place in their lives over the years,” he said. tweeted, “Thank you all for liking what we did!”
