NEW YORK (AP) – Katie Couric’s book tour, starting in two weeks, will be visited by several famous guests.
Live Nation announced Thursday that Jennifer Garner, Saturday Night Live performers Chloe Fineman and Melissa Villasenor, and Brad and Kimberly Paisley will be among those who will join Couric to perform nationwide in support of her upcoming memoir, Going There “.
Tan France will take part in the opening ceremony on October 28 at the Orpheus Theater in Boston. Paisley will be with her in Nashville, Tennessee, Fineman and Villasenor are scheduled for the Beacon Theater in New York and Garner for the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles.
Other guests include Food Network host and bestselling author Ina Garten at the Atlanta Symphony Hall, Chance the Rapper at the Chicago Theater, and a couple of fellow journalists: Today’s co-host Savannah Guthrie, former Couric work, will be with her at the Met Philadelphia; and at Anthem in Washington, DC, Couric will be joined by Kara Swisher, opinion writer for The New York Times and longtime technology reporter.
#MeToo activist Tarana Burke and singer Allison Russell are also expected to perform on the tour, which runs from October 28 to November. 15 and is a partner of Live Nation and P&G.
This story fixes that the tour will open at the Boston Orpheus Theater, not Boston Gardens.
