Actress and neuroscientist Mayim Bialik and “Jeopardy!” G.O.A.T. Ken Jennings will continue to host the game show through the current Season 38.
Sony Pictures Entertainment aforementioned on (Monday) Dec.8, “We are delighted to let you know that Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will continue to share hosting duties through the end of Jeopardy! Season 38, and Michael Davies will remain as executive producer.
We’re so pleased to have such an excellent and experienced team in front of and behind the camera as we head into 2022!” they also said.
In Sep, Sony had proclaimed the Bialik and Jennings would host through the end of the calendar year, beginning on Sept. 20. Sony said they would “split hosting duties as their schedules allow.”
Bialik is known for her role in “The Big Bang Theory.” Sony told she was a “fan favourite” throughout her two-week stint as a guest host in May and June.
Jeopardy! is an American television Game show created by Mery Griffin. The show options a quiz competition during which contestants are presented with general knowledge clues in the style of answers, and should phrase their responses in the form of questions.
Jennings won a record seventy-four games on “Jeopardy!” that attained him $2.52 million. In 2020, he bested Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer in the ABC special event “Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time..” Later that year, he joined Jeopardy! as a consulting producer.
The show had used a series of guest hosts early this year when the death of host Alex Trebek was on Nov. 8, 2020.
The thirty-eighth season started in Sep with former executive producer Mike Richards as host. He and Bialik had been named as hosts in August. Richards then resigned when offensive comments he created on a podcast years ago resurfaced. Richards was then let go as executive producer.
