Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, the UK’s leading tour operator and third largest airline, have revealed their latest growth strategy with the establishment of a base at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, marking their 11th airport in the UK .
Summer 2024: 20 destinations for sale
In response to increased customer demand, 20 sunny destinations are being offered from Liverpool John Lennon Airport for the summer of 2024. This includes seven exclusive Jet2 destinations from Liverpool with Jet2.com’s inaugural flight on March 28, 2024.
During the first summer of operations, Jet2 will operate 54 weekly flights, including 12 flights to the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands, offering a total of 565,000 seats over that period.

The arrival of Jet2 at Liverpool John Lennon Airport will mean the creation of over 200 jobs in areas such as flight crew, cabin crew, engineering and ground operations.
Jet2.com, the UK’s third largest airline, has a fleet of 119 aircraft flying to over 68 destinations. Jet2holidays, which started in 2007, is now the UK’s largest tour operator with an ATOL license carrying 5.86 million passengers.
