The end of John Wick IV gave a lot of drama to the fans, and certainly no one expected such an outcome. Now, it turns out, we were discovering that the film had an alternate ending that completely changed the story.

After four tapes and Wick all fighting and all for revenge, we find himself and finally free, dead. Not only does the last scene show that way, where after Wick falls and sees three bullets, we find Winston and the Fisher King in front of the tomb.
The Prefect himself confirmed that the reason he died was that the purpose of the fourth chapter was “to have peace, to have his freedom in some way… The cause of the film must be made. It cannot be: ‘Let’s do something else.’ About death or the way to die. We were inspired by Hagakure,” he explained to The Hollywood Reporter.

Now, the director of John Wick 4 Chad Stahelski revealed in an interview with Collider that he mentioned the second ending and that they will also have public tests to choose which one will remain.
In the episode, pictures were shown that Wick had survived that last battle. He wasn’t the director’s favorite, but since Lionsgate wasn’t convinced about his star ending, they decided to send both options and choose the public. Surprisingly, we’d prefer the ending we saw on the big screen.
Now, Stahelski has added more confusion to ComicBook by explaining that maybe what you see in that tomb is not what everyone thinks. And that is what distinguishes between the real John and his other self, John Wick, so he omitted the fact that perhaps the man is not dead but is a part of his life. will it be so? Could he have survived?
We will have to wait and see if the fifth installment is known. At the moment, it seems that it could have a good chance of being perceived, and this is because all the records in the saga are broken, Lionsgate is more eager to continue with its success.
