Currently airing 10 shows how detectives and police officers put their lives on the line while dealing with crime on the dangerous streets of Chicago.
The series focuses on members of the intelligence unit of the Chicago City Police Department. The elite group is led by Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) a sad old man, whose vast experience allowed him to solve innumerable crime cases throughout this period, with the help of valuable detectives who were under his command.
Since its debut, many characters have been part of the history of Chicago PD, some of which have left the intelligence unit for various reasons, leaving a huge void not only in the NBC police drama, but also in the hearts of the fans who are returning to their favorite ever.
One of these characters is Anthony Dawson, a Chicago PD detective who appeared on screen in the first season of the series. Played by Jon Seda, he fully reached the hearts of the audience until he left the program with the sixth installment. The departure of the drama to the process of the viewers was not easy and it has not yet reached the modern day that there were many stories of character tracking, especially because of relapses into addiction.

Jon Seda and the writers of Chicago PD reportedly disagreed on which part to move Anthony Dawson to in moving the story forward, so it was decided to remove the character altogether. They still hold out hope that one day he will return, although it may be difficult at the moment because of what is currently going on in the NBC supernatural drama; La Brea.
Some Chicago PD fans may not know this, but before he came to the drama One Chicago, Jon Seda appeared in Season 1, Episode 8 of the financial police series. CBS, Hawaii Five-0titled ‘Mana’o’ (Belief) was released on November 1st. In this program, Sergeant Cage wore a different body type than Anthony Dawson, because he wore a little more hair, looked younger and dressed differently.
