12:42 – BUT NJ 3-1 On the power play, Jack Hughes teased the Canadiens defense and passed to Dawson Mercer. The latter scored an easy goal that brought the score to 3-1 in favor of New Jersey.
11:40 – Jakub Dobes took Samuel Montembeault’s spot in front of the Canadiens’ net.
11:40 – Nathan Légaré receives a penalty. The Devils will play on the power play.
06:06 – Kyle Criscuolo receives a penalty. The Canadians will play the power play.
03:32 – BUT NJ 2-1 Samuel Montembeault covered his net badly with a clearance from Simon Nemec and allowed a weak goal. The Devils lead 2-1.
