Issues such as chronic-degenerative diseases, preterm pregnancy in adolescence, addictions, vector-borne diseases and mental health were addressed during the third session of the Municipal Health Council in Juárez Municipality.
Mayor Francisco Treviño Cantu pointed out that in the last six months of his administration he has managed to solve these five health issues in the municipality.
In Cabaldo Hall, in front of state and municipal health officials, as well as the councilors who make up this council, he explained that in 2023 he would continue to focus on addressing the problem that affects part of the citizenry.
Paco Treviño said, “I am pleased that this semester there has been a lot of progress in prioritizing these problems, which were mainly found in our municipality… and the truth is that we have made a lot of progress ”
He remarked that his administration has sought to educate youth about the health problems they are aware of.
“I had to personally go to various educational establishments in our municipality, such as secondary schools, public and private high schools, to bring up these public health issues, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, through the Ministry of Health.
