The Corporation of the Commonwealth of Services “Kommersmancha” held a general plenary session in which all items on the agenda were approved. Firstly the General Account for the year 2022 was approved, which will be sent to the Court of Accounts for audit. In addition, the transfer of the use of the side-loading vehicle for the collection of organic matter to the company responsible for waste collection was approved by the end of the concession.
The plenary session approved the annual document prepared by the company on provision of service, maintenance and protection of assets, budget, investment proposals, staff and annual report, along with other relevant aspects, which is covered in Article 32. Price review of MSW collection and treatment service rate was also approved in compliance with the revised contract with the service provider, which considers annual price updates linked to increase in CPI. With this decision, the aim is to improve the management of RSU services and guarantee the quality of services offered to the citizens.
One of the most important agreements was the establishment of a process to acquire MSW collection vehicles acquired by the company in 2014, which include collection trucks, small trucks and light vehicles, which will become property of the Commonwealth. As indicated by the president, Pedro Ángel Jiménez, before the final approval, a professional will study the condition of the vehicles and if any are damaged, the company will be asked to put them back in useable condition. Once all the vehicles are received, the Commonwealth will keep many of them and put the rest up for sale.
Also approved was the renewal of the cooperation agreement with CAXABANK for the collection of receivables, as well as the process of registering in the property registry the farm owned by the Commonwealth in the municipality of Tomeloso, located in Coto Rodenos.
Finally, it was agreed to change the classification of the property and facilities of the RCD plant in the Herencia area, so that they become ancestral property and can be put up for sale after specifications have been drawn up.
