This 2023 marks eight years since Kate del Castillo met Sean Penn and Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán in the Magic Town of Cosala, Sinaloa, a passage in her life that she has abandoned to focus on her careers as an actress and producer. For was left in the past.

“Overall, it was a purification in my life in every way and it was a very scary time, not knowing if you’re going to survive, and not just metaphorically speaking, it’s another , attacks in all senses and my family , because the bullets slip by me anyway, but I have a family, I have parents who live in Mexico, who live in Mexico, I’m on this side (USA) So I felt very responsible for all of that, especially for him”.
Regarding Sean Penn, who made his meeting with Capo after writing a report and exposing photographs of the moment in Rolling Stone magazine, the daughter of Erik del Castillo did not hesitate to express her displeasure against her colleague.
